MEASURES TO MINIMIZE THE IMPACT OF COVID-19

To our charter guests, yacht owners, and their families, the safety of our customers and employees is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and are taking action based on guidance from public health experts.

In order to maintain a safe environment and address customer concerns, following measures have been implemented at the bases and during check in:

Please note! When you check in through ”The Navigare Experience App” you will get access to the yacht without visiting our office.

The check in and the office

  • We have plexiglass screen at the counter/desk in the reception office.
  • We disinfect the office before opening and after work.
  • We regularly disinfect the flat surfaces in the office during the day.
  • No cash are acceptable, only contactless credit cards.
  • Cleaning staff wear masks and gloves.
  • Guests who enter our office area are asked to sanitize their hands.
  • We have wall mounted sanitizer close to the office or a stand with the sanitizer.
  • We display Covid-19 measures recommendation from the local health institute on boats and in the office.

The staff

  • We ask the hired crew to measure the temperature before charter.
  • All staff measure their temperature before going to work, we keep the 1,5 m distance and wash our hands regularly as well as using sanitizers.
  • All technical staff at check in wear masks.

The yachts

  • On the yachts, sanitizer suitable for hands and surfaces are available.
  • We disinfect all flat surfaces in between all charters.
  • Cleaning staff wear masks and gloves.
  • We disinfect all exterior cushions.
  • Check-in on the boat: We only allow the skipper and one Navigare Yachting technician – check in is handled through NY Check-in app. (No physical contact, we don’t handover a paper to sign, only through the device.)
  • Check-out the boat: We only allow the skipper and one Navigare Yachting technician – check out is handled through NY Check-in app. (No physical contact, we don’t handover a paper to sign, only through the device.)
  • No charter guests are allowed to enter the pontoon until the boat is handed over to the skipper of the boat. We recommend using our online check-in videos.
