Navigare Yachting is the first charter company to display the new Jeanneau Sun Loft 47 during in-water boat shows this summer, starting with the Marstrand Boat Show in Sweden, August 23-25, 2019, and “Allt på Sjön” in Gustavsberg, August 29-31, 2019.
The Sun Loft 47 is a design concept of Jeanneau and Philippe Briand, primarily known for designing large and luxurious yachts as well as iconic America’s Cup race boats, in response to specific demands from charter clients.
Based on the lines of the Sun Odyssey 490, the Sun Loft 47 was conceived as a “mono-cat”, offering plenty of the open space found on catamarans, while retaining the sensations of a sailing monohull. The result is an incredibly spacious monohull with accommodations for 12 where entertaining family and friends has never been easier.
Sun Loft 47 Features:
Some of the key features of the cockpit include a very spacious area with seating for 12 guests or more that converts to daybeds; an easy-to-operate bimini top that offers plenty of shade or sun as desired (and can also be completely closed if the weather conditions require it); a huge open galley directly adjoining the cockpit.
Additionally, the yacht offers excellent access to the water thanks to a large swim platform, and high lifelines and coaming provide a good feeling of security especially when sailing with children. A must-have for charter guests, the heavy-duty davits will allow carrying a big dinghy. The layout of the Sun Loft 47 offers 6 cabins for guests, plus a skipper’s cabin, hence providing sleeping accommodation for 12.
This could be the most versatile and fun sailing yachts for all your friends!
The Sun Loft 47 has already proven to be very fun to sail, with the initial sea trials conducted with great success by Jeanneau off the coast of Marseille in June. Its beam is carried all the way aft for speed and the boat only heels by up to 15 degrees.
Low Investment, High Return:
For yacht buyers looking to place this new boat into charter with Navigare, the Sun Loft 47 is a very attractive buy at $486,500 delivered, commissioned, and ready to charter in the BVI, with guaranteed returns of 10% annually over 7 years.
The yacht holds so much promise that Navigare has already pre-ordered 11 hulls of the Sun Loft 47 for delivery into its charter fleet in the British Virgin Islands this Fall, as well as Croatia and Greece next Spring.
The first Sun Loft 47 “LINNEA” is available for charter this Winter in the BVI starting at $6,555 per week.
