Excess

EXPLORE EXCESS

Discover Excess, a range of sailing catamarans launched by Groupe Beneteau in 2019 that now includes 4 models (the Excess 11, Excess 12, Excess 14, and Excess 15) ranging from just under 38 ft to 49 ft. The new brand embodies catamarans that are "as much fun to live on as they are to sail", according to the builder.

Excess has become synonymous with a sporty character, modern design, and sailing performance that differentiates it from its long-established sister brand, Lagoon catamarans. Every catamaran in the Excess line offers an increased sail area thanks to the mast position further forward, and a lower center of effort with the boom tucked in close to the coachroof in the absence of a flybridge. The twin helms are located all the way aft in direct connection with the rudders for even more sensations while under sail, though visibility towards the opposite bow is a necessary compromise with this layout.
Excess

The interior living spaces on the Excess are very generous, particularly in the cockpit and the salon, thanks to the helms located far aft. Every detail has been carefully designed to meet the expectations of sailors who want a modern, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing boat that will truly feel like a sailing vessel as well as suit the liveaboard lifestyle.
