Even though it’s been a few weeks since the start of the new calendar year, who doesn’t like a “New for 2024” update?! Without further ado, we are thrilled to share our exciting updates for the year to come, with exclusive news for charter guests and prospective yacht owners.
You may have heard that Navigare Yachting is opening a new Caribbean base in Fort Louis Marina in St. Martin this year, which will begin operations in late 2024. It’s a herculean company-wide endeavor that has been in the making for some time, and we can’t wait to share the St. Martin sailing magic with you!
Navigare also has 53 brand-new luxury sailing yachts arriving at our worldwide bases this year, so we’ll take a moment to introduce you to them below.
This year, we are expanding our sailing horizons and adding a new destination to our award-winning Caribbean operations, with a new highly anticipated charter base in Marina Fort Louis on St. Martin!
About 107 miles to the East of the British Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea, lies the beautiful island of St. Martin, which has a French side and a Dutch side (St. Maarten). Our base will be located in Marigot on the French side, which offers the ideal mix of tropical beaches and quaint European-style villages, shops, and bars.
The island as a whole is known for its wide variety of excellent restaurants, historical buildings and ruins, lively nightlife including carnivals, duty-free shopping, and of course countless beautiful beaches!
We know that our charter guests like to expand their horizons and explore new destinations. That’s why it’s such a joy to be able to offer the opportunity to sail in this exciting new destination this year in addition to our current award-winning Caribbean bases in the BVI and the Bahamas.
While the base has not officially opened yet, the destination is up and running on our website and is available for booking. Please reach out to us if you have questions or are interested in booking your Caribbean sailing getaway in St. Martin for 2024. We can’t wait to welcome you to our new base.
In addition to a new base in St. Martin, we are also welcoming 53 brand-new sailing yachts from some of the world's most renowned shipyards to our bases in 2024!
The new luxury catamarans entering our fleet are of the models Lagoon 42, 46, 51 and Sixty 5, Bali Catspace and Catsmart, Bali 4.2, 4.4, 4.6, 4.8, and 5.4, Fountaine Pajot Astrea 42 and Elba 45 and Island Spirit IS 525E.
The monohull sailboats entering our fleet this year are of the models Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 and Yacht 54, Dufour 37 and 41, and Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 440.
Our biggest operations are in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands and in Croatia where we have two bases, one in Seget and one in Dubrovnik. This year alone we are welcoming 20 new yachts to the BVI and 16 to Croatia.
