Reaching Our Destination

Arrival via St Thomas airport (STT) on St Thomas: Guests traveling from St Thomas in the USVI will need to take a ferry to Roadtown on the island of Tortola. The ferry takes about 50 min. The base is 15 minutes by taxi from the ferry terminal.

Allow two to three hours between landing in St Thomas and arriving at the base to allow for customs clearance, luggage pickup, ferry travels and the short drive to the base. Check-in at the base begins at the time indicated in your booking confirmation.

There are several ferry options between the USVI and the BVI, including shared ferry rides (about $100 per person roundtrip) and private water taxis (less restrictive in terms of schedule but significantly more expensive). For the lowest price, place your booking online. Here are a few options:

Taxi rates are regulated by the BVI government, and as of April 2022, rates from the Airport to Nanny Cay are:
1-2 pax = $36 / 3 or more pax =$15 per person

Arrival via Beef Island airport (EIS) on Tortola: Guests arriving in Tortola by air, allow one hour to retrieve your luggage and exit the airport, then a 30-minute drive to the base.

Taxi rates from Ferry Road Town to Nanny Cay:
1-2 pax =$15 | 3 or more pax= $8 per person

Transfer to the Base

To ensure a smooth arrival, we ask that your arrival details (flights, cab/ferry) be provided in your booking when you submit your crew list. This information must be provided (or updated) no later than two weeks before your charter. We will arrange your transfer to the base, either from the ferry dock or the airport.

Customs in Roadtown is open daily from 8:00 am until the last ferry is cleared around 6.00-6:30 pm. Be sure to carry $10 in cash per person for the tourist tax upon arrival in BVI.
