Dubrovnik Yacht Charter

Dubrovnik is a living, breathing museum. Upon entering the city walls you’ll be transported to a place where architecture and culture span over 500 years. The stone is ancient, the buildings are unchanged and to this day no vehicles except those with special permits are allowed to enter. A stroll along the city walls highlights incredible views of the city and the magnificent Adriatic Sea.

The Dubrovnik region has many hidden caves like the famous Cave Beach, accessible only from the water, awaiting your exploration by boat. Lokrum island, home to a legendary Franciscan monster, beautiful gardens, a unique salt lake, and flocks of peacocks, is just a short sailing charter ride away!

Navigare Yachting has been well-known for our bareboat charter offerings since 2001, so there’s no better choice if you want to cruise the Adriatic Sea in comfort and style. Our enormous fleet of modern luxury sailing vessels is well-maintained and highly reviewed throughout the industry by charter guests and booking agents alike. Our base is located at the highly desirable ACI Marina in Dubrovnik!

Islands Around Dubrovnik

Lokrum Island

Lokrum is an island in the Adriatic Sea, situated just 600 meters from Dubrovnik's coast. In the 11th century, Benedictine monks lived there until they were expelled by greedy landowners. Legend has it that the monks circled the island, placing a curse on anyone who stayed overnight. Shortly after, many of these landowners mysteriously died. This persistent myth still scares people, which is why the island remains uninhabited today.

The name Lokrum likely derives from the Latin word "acrumen," meaning "bitter fruit." Lemons and oranges still thrive on the island today. The sea shapes Lokrum's coastline, with violent storms causing waves to crash dramatically against the cliffs on the eastern and southern sides. This erosion has created Lokrum's unique natural feature—the Dead Sea—a pond formed by centuries of storms and the island's rocky shoreline. Sea waves surge along the beach, pouring into a deep, rocky cave connected to the lake by underground channels.

Korčula

The town/port of Korčula is located on the island of the same name in the central/southern part of the Croatian Adriatic. Korčula was an old Greek city and the birthplace of Marco Polo, the world-famous explorer and adventurer! Several fantastic buildings such as the cathedral of St. Marka, as well as the herringbone-shaped city streets, make Korčula a perfect place to visit! You can try some of the best Croatian dishes in Korčula and visit the nearby towns of Vela Luka and the archipelago of 20 islands nearby!

Lopud

Lopud is a small island in the area of Dubrovnik, almost entirely covered with Mediterranean vegetation, pines, cypresses, palm trees, etc. Lopud is one of the Elaphites, the islands near Dubrovnik, and the most visited of all the islands. The reason for this popularity is probably the beaches, of which Sunj is the most popular, as well as the interesting past, as Lopud was a place with 30 churches and 2 monasteries, a few of which still exist!

Proizd

Proizd is a small island located northwest of the island of Korčula, at the entrance to the “Velolučki” bay. It is characterized by dense Mediterranean vegetation, crystal clear sea, and beautiful beaches. Although the coast of the islet of Proizd is mostly pebbly and rocky, the northern side of the island hides a true little paradise. There are the so-called “Bili Boci”, three divine beaches of white rocks plunging into the beautiful blue sea. On the southern side of the island is Perna Bay, the main anchorage for sailors sailing around the Central Dalmatian islands. In the bay of Perna, there is a small pier and a small restaurant with local specialties.
